- Was the incident on the carfax report of the CPO car? Because I believe according the BMW's policy, a CPO'd car can't be involved in an accident.

- Post some pics and write-up of the hardwired V1 (like the great one you did on the Dinan Strut Bar). You should also look into getting a Steath One for your Valentine 1. It makes all the difference.

- Why did you update to v31 and not v32, just curious.

- Did you get the floor mats or the floor liners?
-The carfax didn't state what the issue was, but I found out for any damage over $500 in NY it has to be reported, so I was like that could go pretty quickly in a BMW. But it was odd, because it had the "incident" listed and then it went to the auction blocks, and then it skipped to 2 different BMW dealerships before the one I purchased it at. Since I traded-in it in at the point I wasn't going to bother with the research.

-Thanks about the Dinan Strut Bar right up. I thought they install was pretty easy, just have to use some muscle on it to get the end plates on. All of the pictures turned out like crap though since it was dark by the time I got started, but I figured a good write up would at least help the next person. Plus knowing the size of all of the tools you need is key!

-I've thought about getting a Stealth One, just haven't convinced myself yet. I used the suction cup holder on my windshield for a while, and well I guess I am accelerate a little too quickly sometimes and it feel and hit me in the leg. V1's hurt!!! So it is mounted on the sun visor. I kind of like it up there, because I am 6'8'' and so I sit up high and I can see everything just out of the upper peripheral vision of my eye so I don't have to have the beeping up that high to get my attention.

-On my BMWCCA VBB that I am part of somebody posted the v31 software, so I went down that route. If I had spent the time and found the v32 I would have done that. Just a matter of me being lazy.

-I bought the WeatherTech Digital Fit Floor Liners. I wasn't sure if I would like them after I unboxed them, but one they were installed and accidentally got some mud on my shoes and see them not get on my carpet I was sold! WeatherTech Automotive Accessories - FloorLiner? DigitalFit? - 2006 BMW X5 - WeatherTech Floor Liner - floor liner, floor tray protects and lines the floor of truck and SUV carpeting from mud, snow, water and dirt
