My first attempt was painful, but after you do it once, its not bad at all.

If you're swapping axles, then the How To guide for the cv axle is overkill. Removing the brakes, disconnect the Lower control arms and tie rod, pop outboard part of axle from hub, then pop inboard shaft out from diff....

But if you're just doing the outer boot replacement, then I believe it suits it fairly well.
