I also read the one on the home page and it doesn't mention this either. I honestly didn't know this was an issue until I read it here. There are tons of posts in this forum about installing a sub but no one ever complains about this. I find that strange.
That is where you will want to tap, once you use the LOC it will setup the signal how it needs to be. Just connect the RCAs to your AMP and you will be off and running! It will get louder as you turn up the volume
