If the price is good and the issues are fixed I would not hesitate to buy one.
After all, if you can save a few thousand for the sake of a refurbished diff and a new airbag unit, what's the problem?
My 04 E60 had tons of issues in the beginning. All got resolved and I got more freebies than I could possibly wish for.
