I'm with Gresch. They are both good cameras, and both Nikon and Canon make some good lenses (and some not so good).

I am partial to Nikon, but at this point it is probably more habit than anything else. I know the cameras, like the controls and ergonomics, and have a collection of Nikon glass, so I wouldn't change over.

I was looking at the D300, but it was too heavy for me, and more than I need. If I needed to replace my D70 today, I would pick up a D90.
