You guys are missing this one BIG Time.
Much of the violence is occuring in the suburbs (which is where the "projects" are)... The violence is being perpetuated by young, muslim, immigrants.
These are folks that are really not welcomed by the "French", but come because it's a helluva lot better than where they came.. and it is easy to get in. Unemployment runs close to 25% in the French workers paradise and hence the frustration with the whole system. I can't blame 'em
This amounts to a second front on the war on terror.. I am glad it's the dam French that have to deal with it..
