Do you see the "GPS" graphic on the top right of the NAV screen, or is it missing? It is possible that the NAV computer isn't seeing a good GPS signal and is using its internal inertial guidance (which gets less and less accurate the more you drive the car without GPS).
If you look at the bottom of
my BMW page, you'll see the NAV diagnostic mode screens and can compare with what your NAV is showing (see other posts here for entering diagnostic mode).
