I would be pissed as well B. It must be the dealer. When I bought my X5 from Beverly Hills BMW I got to test drive till I was blue in the face. Same thing goes for Hornburg Land Rover with regards to a full test drive of a RR S/C. Down here in SD I test drove a fully loaded Cadillac Escalade Hybrid with no questions asked. I of course took 3 looks at the interior of it and ran for the hills but that is another thread. I don't think it's Cadillac as a brand's fault their dealerships suck. It's only been a few years since Cadillac moved towards a BMW fighter. The dealers don't change overnight but that is still no excuse. Cadillac should be extremely concerned that their dealers are not stacking up because if they want to play with the big boys they need to bring everything to the table. Until then you will keep seeing them bribing their buyers (huge rebates, employee pricing etc) to move their fleet.
Seriously thou B let's be real. There is no way someone looking at an AMG Mercedes would downgrade themselves enough to buy a Cadillac. Perhaps they sensed their disadvantage and cut their losses.
