Agree completely. Now, does that say more about Americans, or wagons?

BMW tries to get around it by calling them tourings. Americans instantly think Clark Griswold. Meanwhile, Europeans love tourings. And to close the loop, many Americans don't like Europeans any more than they like wagons. That's fine, there is room in the world for all of us.

What does this have to do with chick cars?

BTW, my definition is that a car is a chick car if it is owned by a clueless young female. There is nothing about an inanimate object that makes it masculine or feminine. An H1 owned by a chick is a chick Hummer (there's a joke there somewhere..). An X5 is a soccer-mom-mobile only when said soccer mom is driving it, and it reverts to not being a soccer-mom-mobile when her significant other drives it.
