Interesting....
When the sales person sized you up and didn't allow you to drive the 6 series, did you ask to speak to the manager? Did the manager say no to the test drive?
Cause after we asked the sales person, we escalated the issue to management who insisted that he would only let us drive it after we had a deal in place.
If it was only on the sales level, I probably wouldn't have bothered mentioning it. But I went over his head to management. And once you go to management, you would assume that you are serious about the car and would make it happen.
I also hate to repeat, this happened at two dealers.
