yes it does redline. Could it be something I missed in the reassembly of the alternator stage. My mechanic removed the radiator and obviously belts etc in the removal. I questioned him on the belt. Is there any way it could be installed the wrong way? resulting in load on the engine? Pretty sure everything was reconnected and would expect a fault on the dash or scanner to show something up. I asked if the pipe from the intercooler could pop off that goes into the throttle body (lower hose). He said no you would hear a load roar from the turbo????????
