I just purchased the Dice for my 07 X3. I can control my Ipod through the steering wheel but not the actual head unit. Can anyone help.

I also have been having problems with the connection. Yesterday, It shut down my Ipod. I had to restore it. This morning, I connected it again but it would not play. I looked at the screen and it said Dice but would not play at all. All of a sudden, it worked after 25 min driving. Crazy. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I think I like the old Ice Link better.
