Wow, this works so much better than the older E53 and E39 that I put paddleshifts in. Those cars have to be in the sport mode for the paddles to work. Love the fact that now you hit one button and the transmission shifts into sport/manual and shifts down...offering you max acceleration at the touch of a button. Can't wait to retrofit this into my E70. I already have the parts on order!
Now, anyone take apart their E71 to see how it's wired in??
