E70 3.0si engine oil change DIY

as promised. i DIY'ed the first oil change at 8600kms. try as own risk.

you will need:
1. E70/E90 oil filter wrench
2. 17mm socket (for the drain nut)
3. torque wrench (25.5 nm for filter and drain nut)
4. oil filter with two o-rings and crush washer
5. ramps.
6. syn oil. i used castrol syntec 5w30.

steps:
1. remove intake tube blocking oil filter
2. ramp up car.
3. drain oil. (the drain nut has a blue dot painted on it you can't miss it.)
4. tightening drain nut (use new crush washer)
5. remove oil filter housing cap with filter wrench.
6. remove oil filter and the two old o-rings.
7. install new oil filter and new o-rings. (remember to lube the o-rings with some oil.)
8. tighten oil filter cap.
9. fill oil. i measured how much oil i drained and it was 6.5 liters.

more pics are coming. for me the intake tube was difficult to take off. the actual oil change took 30mins. it's a good thing i did the oil change because when i went to unscrew the drain nut it was so loose already i could've unscrewed it by hand. scary.
