I think you may be at the max or exceeding the max towing capacity. I don't like to overstress the tranny or anything else on the vehicle which could fail and pose a danger. Err on the side of safety, not the opposite. It also depends on how much, how far, and what type of terrain you cover when you tow. I would probably just buy a tow vehicle to handle a 24 footer. Probably a diesel with enough torque to tow a big boy!
