Well it's a little more than just the hardware. I will have to make a custom harness as well. There is no software coding required. The paddle shift is just another way of shifting gears...something you can already do of course using the gear shift. The X5 and X6 are literally the same in terms of electronics. I have most of the wiring diagrams.
Yes the X5 M has the paddle shifts and more as already seen in the spy shots posted in the X5 forum! Unfortunately it will be a while before it's out and even longer before I can afford one!
