Yeah I know it's expensive. But if I personally was going to do it then yes I'd fork over the bucks. Hell, you can get a piece of cheap pipe welded in place for $30 over here, but it's not the same is it. All their stuff is super high quality and obviously very expensive. (I'd love their sports steering wheel, but it's $1700 !)

I thought it would be a pain in the ass for you to order from the states, given that some of the best tuning companies in the world are in Germany.

And to answer your last question... if I lived in Germany, I wouldn't be driving an X5 ! It would be an M3 or M5 with a 40 kg brick permanently attached to the accelerator.
