I don't think so since it seems to be an exclusive statement to year 2004. Look at my update above (post # 3).
BTW, if you have rear side door airbags, make 1000% sure they are deactivated.

I could understand if it were a seatbelt issue, but with the latch system I don't understand why there would be any concern at all.
