Guys I thought I read on another thread about a switch or something in the actual headlights that was made for this purpsose - adjusting for RH and LH drive.

Let me see if I can find it.

Here it is from the Bi-xenon conversion on a prefacelift on the homepage. I guess it only applies to xenon headlights.

"The original Xenon lights fitted to E53s in the UK have a lever on the Xenon projector that move a plate to blank off the raised kerb-side pattern, thus making the dipped beam pattern a straight line cut-off".
