The system has detected that the nav is not talking on the ibus, and the video module (TV Tuner) has taken over generating the graphics for the display. The nav has stopped talking because it has crashed during the software update. Maybe you had a corrupted OS disc, low car battery voltage, or wrong mode OS disc, or simply bad luck.

So you are now looking at the output from the video module, not from the nav.

Normally, a Mk4 nav does not crash during a SW update.
However, a Mk3 WILL crash during an update if you use a Mode1 CD.

What nav do you have in your car: Mk3 (CD) or Mk4 (CD/DVD)?
Tip: if the nav shows DVD on the front of the unit, it is a Mk4.

If you have a Mk3, then try loading software from a OS CD that you have confirmed is Mode2/Form1 format.
That normally restores the Mk3 back to working condition.
