Here's another one for you...try opening the door or driving with open door when driving in your driveway to move few inches forward.

I lock the car when washing at home and put the keyfob beyond the range. In your case if you are outside of home try leaving it inside the car.

Have you tried the settings menu for some items?

I think your E70 is pissed at you that you did not give it the respect you gave your E53. e.g. your avatar still shows E53.
