Dsc will try and brake the spinning wheels so that the differential will apply power to the wheel that is not spinning, because it thinks there is traction on the other side. If you are in mud, and the wheels are spinning like crazy, the dsc will just keep alternating the braking back and forth because as soon as it brakes the spinning side, the other side spins out. I was told that this will eventually fry the system, at least heat your rotors up. Simple rule... If you know you are gonna be spinning for a while, turn dsc off.
