If you think your X is stiff on 17's and no sport suspension, then you may want to think long and hard about putting 20's on.

I am not sure about the suspension wear, but I would think that with the stiffer sidewall of the lower profile tire and heavier weight of the larger rim, it can't make the suspensions job any easier.
