I just had my transmission software updated this week on my '05 X5 and, wow, what a difference Definitely more responsive in terms of shifting points and holding time in gear. Also, I haven't experienced that head-jerking "slam" coming out of a rolling stop that I've had to endure on occasion since the upgrade either.
