I have been following the DIY threads on oil change and was planning on changing it myself, but will probably need ramps/jacks and the tool for removing the filter not to mention, oil pan, disposal etc. Hence I decided to call the local $tealer and another shop (BMW trained technicians), $198 at the $tealer and $78 at the shop. What do you folks suggest, 78 bucks worth compared to the time, effort, cost to buy tools for a DIY?
