Hello:
I would like to find out if you have a compabatible type of ATF for
BMW vehicles. Specifically for these two types of ATF:
1. Texaco ETL 7045E
2. Texaco ETL 8072B
|
BMW no longer requires or reccommends 8072B for X5s with the GM A5S390R transmission; both BMW and GM reccommend Dexron VI.
FWIW, I decided to use
Redline D4ATF instead of Dexron VI because there are so few people that have tried Dexron VI in the A5S390R, while there are plenty of people that have had good results with D4ATF in it.

What this means is that it is not a certified Dexron VI product. If you want to go with Valvoline and a Dexron VI, I would use their
full synthetic Dexron VI.
