This place is a great help but I still like to confirm what i've read with the dealer. But as we all know - sometimes their info isn't standard either. I will be going with the Valvoline DEX VI. I've ordered the original BMW filter and Transfer Case Fluid (xDrive, '06) from ECS Tuning. I should get it before the weekend and hopefully will get a chance to do the tranny, diff and xfer case. The DEX VI is the full synthetic one. Diff fluid is the Valvoline Synpower 75w-90 full synthetic as well. I have no idea what the xfer case fluid is but it must be part gold to charge 47.xx/quart.
