The Toyota/Lexus nav system sucks that you can't operate while it is moving, but you can defeat it. Hayaku has defeated the "safety" option on his Sienna, but it does "dumb" down the system, but otherwise the NAV system on the Toyota/Lexus is touch screen better user interface.

So, however, that is one thing the BMW NAV/BT system actually has an advantage. Too bad, the BMW NAV system user interface is retarded, but once you get used to it, it is functional, just not the best.

I didn't realize the Toyota/Lexus BT/Phone system was "dumbed" down and disabled once the car was moving as well. Really a dumb idea by Toyota/Lexus.

The Honda/Acura IMHO has the best OEM NAV/Phone system user interface and it doesn't get deactivated when you are driving like the Toyota's.

Can the BMW navigation and phone systems be operated while moving? By my passenger, of course. It's not clear from the manual that I downloaded.

Thanks!
