Ours is a 2006 CPO 3.0, loaded with NAV, 38k for $26k in February through BMWFS at 0.9%.
Clearly their are slight differences in price based on everything from location to time of month and desperation of sales staff. Cars that sit are cheaper. Cars that are Black or Silver are more expensive. So much to this game that advice on a "good price" is so complicated. Anyway, I guess we can get close with our collective feedback. Now certainly is an awesome time to buy.
We picked up our X5 and without a doubt were sold on it from jump. Obviously not letting on, but we were SET on Highland Green on Beige with NAV. this being our second X5 and liking a uniqure color, our selection was very limited. Also, we were on a timeframe coming out of our X3 lease.
So to us it was like finding gold, and $26k was the right price. We couldn't be happier and most important is we're behind the wheel of our beloved E53 X5 once again. Highland green should be renamed "Slate Grey with slight green-ish tint under artificial light. Under normal light the car is slate-grey-green. It's freakin' beautiful.
