I actually remember most of the terms from the CB craze days of the mid to late '70s.
The lingo is not the prob., when we listen in while stuck in some huge jam on the interstate...it's the accents and "fine voices" of the truckers.
"JV" doing his radio station, they are not!
Your avg trucker sounds more like Gabby Hayes. Some pics and a link for those of you less than 40,
These guy sounded just like he looked. He was a classic sidekick, however.
