The divertor valves on the other hand were known to not hold boost and also notorious for failing. Bear in mind what you read on the internet is only a small population.. Most of the turbo failures were due to idiots not cooling down the turbos before turning off the motor and not running turbo timers.

. I remember before we landed on the X5, we also considered a 330i and a 530i. Along with that came the B5 S4. My god, that thing was fantastic! The steering was perfectly weighted, and the thing was just glued to the road
