So sorry to hear about your baby. It's really sad and I guess that's the reality of having a pet. We look at our 19 month old Rottweiler and just cannot imagine him being old much less at the end of his life. We can't think about it and just enjoy him everyday and give him a good life. That's what you did and you know you have a very happy dog.
