I know we're all up in arms over the bailout and tax money being spent, but the figures above do not upset me as much, save the 2.8 million spent by GM. In most instances above, it cost taxpayers less than 1/1000 of a percent of the total bailout funds received.

As the old saying goes, it takes money to make money. Apparently it takes money to ask for more money.
