They are both excellent bikes, but I personally perfer Treks. Of course I'm a little biased as I worked at a Trek store for a year and a half. But i have always felt that the geometry of the specialized just feels a little goofy, not quite as responsive as the trek geometry. All comes down to a test ride.

What type of riding will you be doing? Group rides or racing?
