I would take the Trek over the Specialized, but I don't think they went far enough with the new Madone models. The Project One program is nice, with custom paint. What kind of riding will you be doing?

I have a Trek 5200 OCLV with Ultegra, and I was thinking about a Madone 6.5 Performance last year, but have now decided that my next bike will be a Cervelo. Great engineering, and winning lots of races. The Got To Have It factor is very high. I don't need the aero model (S2) so will go with an RS built up with either '09 Dura Ace or Ultegra SL, and custom wheels. Take a look at their site, and read up on them. See how they placed at the Olympics.

Cervelo
