Hey Folks: In case your interested, I put up on eBay last night a new interior mirror with Auto-Dim, Universal Garage Door Opener, Rain Sensor, and the Red Clown Nose. This was retrofitted into my non-premium package 2005 BMW X3 3.0 but I had BMW further upgrade me to the mirror that also included the Compass.
BMW part number is 51 16 01 7 028 444 (5116017028444)
It was only in for a week and worked perfectly
