it might encourage you to know that the only mechanical/electrical issue I've had with my 3.0sd (.au designation for the twin turbo diesel) in the past 12 months since I took delivery is a faulty power steering pump which worked fine but threw up an error on the idrive. I just hit 30,000km's on the clock
