As Migration Day draws closer, I'm homing in on the Sony 60" SXRD. I search the price comparo sites daily; cheapest I've found thus far is "Butterfly":

After we get there but not too late is troublesome.
-Is the $600 to $900 buck extra warranty all the selling sites hump,
really necessary? (Fwiw, I've Never had a bad TV of any kind, brand or method of electron shooting.)a
We are finally signed up with Comcast (aka Complicated&UnCaringCAST) for HDTV, digi TV (whatever that means), DPVR, etc. They suggest the TV "be there" when we the cableguy shows up to do his stuff.
-What kinda cables to I need to buy?
Any other tips?
Man, this brand new "2nd house" thing is driving me nuts.
