Bimmian Solaris InvisiBulbs Turn Signal Bulbs for BMW X5 SAV - 2000-2006 E53 they are much better than EAS which i have on my E46 ... make sure to choose the ultra bright edition
As for the sub box, yes it is not easy .. u have to remove the fuse holder and remove a plastic piece on the bottom of the trunk in order to get it out .. then putting everything back in place which includes re-doing the isolation and sound deading .. but of course the OEM sub is much easier to remove
