I've just purchased a brand new X5 in Norway. It's a 3.0 D, but due to a rather unique tax-system in this country, the engine is tuned downwards to 211 bhp (500NM) from 235. As far as I understand, not one single physical peace is changed - it's only about software. Any idea out there on how to get it back to (at least) its original level, decreasing both average consumption and emmissions??? Do anyone know if this "alter" any warranty conditions?
