I thought my Sony Bravia LCD was more than adequate until I came across the Samsung LED TV stationed conveniently at the entrance of the Fry's store.
I was pretty much blown away by the picture. It's also amazing skinny. The LCD screen uses an LED light source in of the conventional CCFL's and is noticeably brighter. As in big time brighter.

Price: $3199 for the 55" inch including wireless and wired LAN built in. According to the sales person, it was $3799 when first introduced a month earlier, so the prices are dropping.
Sony is supposed to have an LED driven LCD out there also, but I haven't seen it. Not sure if it's out yet.
