I see in your sig that you have an E70 4.8, so you're obviously a well-rounded driver and not "married" to the Smart car cult!
Just wanted to point that out for the benefit of the other readers who our out to crucify the Smart.

The important thing is that you're having fun with your modding, and I think it looks very clean and tasteful. No ghetto or "ricer" feel to these mods, very nicely done.

As for safety, it's a "relative" concept, and everyone has a different threshold for what is safe. I, personally, would not "feel" safe in the Smart nor would I want my loved ones driving in it. It would simply come out on the losing end to 90% of the vehicles on American roads. But if one is goint to preach about safety, then motorcycles are a more obvious problem. I'd rather be enveloped in the Smart's safety cage (however small it may be) than have no safety cage at all. A helmet and leather jacket aren't going to pass an IIHS frontal offset test!
