I followed your thread before when you were having your issues with it as well. I went back to bmw and they confirmed via DINAN specs and Steve from DINAN the IL rep that they are in fact designed to be over the top and to be noticed as a DINAN exhaust, plus they confirmed the design was intended to be able to read the DINAN clear as day. They also had 2 other 4.4's that had the same set up and they all looked the same as mine. So i am leaving the exhaust as is... I will be posting sound clips when i get her back from the INSPECTION II. they gave me a tiny 335i as a loaner, fun car, but would be a ton better with a sport package...
