I feel for the kid, but I think the question remains is why did the kid have to run him over and kill the guy? If he had a weapon, I would understand...kill or be killed. But there's no mention of a weapon (granted the guy was a beast and could use his fists as weapons)...all the kid had to do is hit the Porsche driver enough to where he was injured. I'm sure everything is much more heightened and different when you're in the situation, but for him to stop a block away would appear to show more than just the intent to hurt, which is why I think the police are considering charges. I'm no lawyer, but that's how I'm rationalizing the situation. On the flip side, at least it was the rager that got killed and not the kid. Makes you think twice about getting angry over something that in the grand scheme of things is very insignificant.
