My biggest thanks to you all. I was able to do it and to mod my own colours...it work great.
One simple question... I wish to change the arrow showing turns in the navigator from white to bright green...which item is this one? I think it could be "map cursor active" under "map colours" is that correct or not? THX a lot!!!
