May want to consider the new Palm Pre, comes out June 6th, Sprint will have a 6 month exclusivity--I'm sure it will show up on other carriers after 6 months if you don't want Sprint (which probably have more area with 3G than AT&T does).

Palm Pre has a real keyboard, multitask, faster processor than current iPhone. First smartphone to give iPhone some real competition.
By the way, I'm not anti-Apple...using a Mac which I just recently updated to OS 10.5.7 with no problem and also have iPod and Time Capsule, etc.
I personally don't like onscreen keyboard on iPhone and iPod Touch. Also, found it funny that after 2 years, I can do certain things on my "old school" Centro that it is impossible to do on iPhone: cut & paste, sending pics & videos via MMS, actually taking a video, push e-mail, streaming internet radio in the background while running other apps, swap battery when it runs low, real physical keyboard, tether my Centro as a modem for either my Windows Laptop or Macbook, adding extra memory via memory card. Granted some of these things will be fixed with iPhone OS 3.0....but looking forward to see what Palm Pre can do with their webOS. When Palm Pre announced that they can do cut & paste, tether as modem, multi task, swap battery, run Flash on their browser, record video, send MMS video, etc., it forced iPhone to release 3.0. Competition is good for everyone. Anyhow, I'm glad for people who enjoy and use their iPhones, but the medical profession awaits what will be the "smartphone" for them...
Also, agree with others, some of us would prefer to have either Palm Pre or iPhone on Verizon. For some of us, we actually have to make phone calls!
