Not saying it wouldn't be an issue in some eyes, but simply quoting a person who was influential (whether good or bad in your eyes) doesn't essentially drop them in that pool. I could go around quoting Hitler, doesn't make me a Third Reich lover

Now if you just do politics, sure I'm sure any person who quoted Hitler as part of their 'quotes' would get in trouble but that is life apparently.
