AUX should appear when the cable harness is connected, regardless of whether a device is plugged in to the vehicles Aux-In socket.
The cable harness has the trigger (a resistor) that the radio detects to determine if the Aux-In harness is connected or not.

The BM54 is from an '03 model.....
I'm positive that the connection behind the monitor is correct......

I'm going to look at the connection to the BM54......from what I remember, there was only two main plugs that my retrofit-harness plugged directly into.

I did need an adapter to plug my retrofit harness to my existing radio harness.....it looked as if there were some open slots for additional stuff??

Thanks again KiwiJochen, I'm sick of listing to the radio
