Yes, the same on my 2001 3,0i. Hanging drops of clear yellow oil on this ring and on the alucover. Bought new sealring (cheap only about 20 Dollar) my mecanik told me four houres work.
This is the oil in the front diferensial and its expensive to burn this i belive.
