I, too, went the Michelin Latitude HP after my Diamaris were nearing "slick" stage - I feel alot safer in wet weather now, but still have a winter tire setup on 17" rims - mine is a 2001 4.4 Sport and I have towed trailers, though not as heavy as your 5000# load - never had a problem, so far - Idaho to South Carolina to NJ and back - but best milage was keeping it around 60 vs 70-80
